The Doctoral School of Geosciences brings together various subfields of earth sciences and geography. Its working groups have versatile scientific profiles. Most of them have significant innovation profile and besides focusing on the developing individual research competences, the R&D&I aspects are also taken into account during the doctoral training programme. The fundamental aim of the training is to develop skills and expertise required for scientific research. Furthermore, our aim is to train professionals for applied and fundamental research with high level of methodological and theoretical knowledge, thus to serve the needs of labour market.
